I’m just back from SESF and will have a full report with lots of photos in the next E31News.
For many folks, spring and summer means time to travel, take a road trip or just get away for a few days. If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area, I highly recommend checking out the Petersen Automotive Museum. They have two museum tours that are a must see for car buffs: The Vault Tour and the Workshop Tour. Both are well worth the additional museum charge. https://www.petersen.org/
Also in Los Angeles, in El Segundo just south of LAX, is a real gem of an automotive museum- The Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum. Here you can mingle with the cars on display, enjoy a snack and on Sundays, they offer museum visitors rides in their classics! A lot of fun at this place- special events almost every weekend. Admission is very reasonable. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. https://automobiledrivingmuseum.org/
